      Note: This child's name at christening was Else Mari Christensdatter. She is listed as only Else in the 1801 census. Her marriage and christening of her children list her as Else Johanne Christensdatter. To prove this is the one christened as Else Mari Christening, the following has been found:
      1) The marriage of Else Johanne Christensdatter and Christen Pedersen list her as from Stamhuset. Stamhuset if the name of a home in Taars, there is only one family living it in the 1787 and 1801 census, the father being Christen Thomsen (father of Else).
      2) Christen Thomsen's probate dated 30 Sep 1828 (FHL film #48,975 p.167) list not only Else Johanne Christensdatter, but also Christen Pedersen (her husband) and three of her children. No other child named Else is listed in the probate.
